Well,as usual, my anxiety was on about nothing. I'm firmly in place at my new job and I've even got health insurance pending. I'm really excited about moving forward with my new career.

Thank you all for you patience.

It's still quite a struggle to do art on my new schedule. But, I'll do my best to keep up with postings. As always, the struggle is in getting production time down and proportion quality/consistency up.

See y'all next week.

You should come out with a t-shirt that says "Marcus is God".

I have been thinking off and on of doing T-Shirt designs.

Blood is underrated as an extra corporeal transport medium. No, no it's not.

(btw looks like a layer got dropped in the last panel)

You mean Marcus' eyes? They've always been untextured. I assumed it was to make him a little weird-looking

Oh snap! Never noticed that before.

Heh, yeah. Originally Marcus didn't have ink lines. After I updated his design I kept the inks and started leaving his eyes and brows transparent. It's easy to miss because he's usually on the ground.

I felt like it was a distinct means of giving a very slightly supernatural look to him. I only slightly regret it when he's in front of a background like that.

But anyway. The worst thing they can do is probably to investigate it in the first place. I guess that is going to happen now. If horror movies teach anything, it is definitely "MOVE ALONG" because as soon as you check things out, you are effed. The town is creepy as it is :/

You will never catch me investigating an abandoned butcher shop/meat packing plant/steel mill.

That's just prudent life planning.

I really like how you've got those textures on the buildings here. Is it actually 3D modeled or is it an effect you're able to achieve in Photoshop or something?

Oh, yeah. Those are just models in the background. I export them as 2D images and then trim them before plopping 'em down just above the backdrop layer.
